I’m not a landscape or nature photographer. This, despite living in one of the more beautiful areas in Canada. Surrounded by lakes and trees, you’d think I would. However, it’s portraiture work that I love the most.
That being said, a client needed some images from area and I was happy to oblige. Summer, after all, is a great time to get outside. Enjoy!
I was definitely out of my comfort zone. That’s the best way to describe the experience at the Editorial Portraiture workshop in Santa Fe. Waaay out of my comfort zone. But, that’s how we grow.
Here is another set of images from the workshop. For the last set, see the previous post here.
Last summer, I was in Santa Fe, New Mexico attending an Editorial Portraiture workshop by Victoria Will.
It was one of the most challenging photographic experiences of my life. Overwhelming at times. Gratifying at others. Being able to hang out and connect with other photographers for a week was food for the soul. And having an amazing instructor in Victoria Will was beyond words.
That’s all I can say.
Anyway, here is a sample of the work I created while there. Some I’ve shared before, others I haven’t. Stay tuned for another post with even more images.
